Weapon procedural generation prototype
WASD / arrows to move
Left Mouse to shoot
Right Mouse to detonate when required
Space to generate a new Weapon
My entry is a prototype for a procedural generation system that generates top down 2d weapons. There isn't a real game, so I just placed some dummies to test the weapons with.
The weapon generated can shoot projectiles or place mines.
A lot of parameters of the weapon are procedurally generated, like number of projectiles, angle, speed, element and so on, the main focus though is the path. The function representing the path of the projectile is completely random and unique to every weapon.
The name system is random too, based on weapon's features.
